Gillian Confair, RYT 200, first found yoga after a series of knee injuries left her unable to run or continue with competitive sports. The resulting change of pace provided much-needed clarity and allowed her to make space in a hectic schedule for inner peace, and to prioritize joy over competition. this same “make space” attitude can be found in her teaching style: a vigorous vinyasa flow designed to leave worries at the door and plant seeds of positive thought to carry throughout the day. Gillian received her RYT 200 from Yoga Garden in 2013. When not on the mat, you can find her behind the front desk at The Pad Studios or in rehearsal at several Bay Area theaters.
